Wish Riders -Bikers who help
Make a Wish Foundation along with the Ronald McDonald House of New York, was the recipient of the funds from the awareness campaigns we built around our Care To Play Pro Am Tennis Event this past Spring. The event led me to a chance meeting with Frank Shankwitz, Founder of Make A Wish. We had a cool talk about CompassionWorx and our goal to marry folks passion with compassion. Frank and I quickly fell into a conversation on motorcycles and riding and down came the story that launched Make A Wish, when he granted the first wish to a boy off his motorcycle when he was an Arizona State Trooper.I was then told about Frank's latest creation the Wish Rider.org program. All on motorcycles! Frank mentioned that ABC was picking up a TV series about the Wish Rider's initiative and searching to fill casting spots. He asked if I could put a "sizzle reel" short film together to send off to him so he could get it to ABC and the Director of the show.
Though I didn't know the Harley tie-In at the time and my bikes have all been fast and foreign, I chose to turn to my Ducati roots. Here's what we submitted. It sure would be a cool chance for all the volunteers involved in the Wish Rider campaign to log their hours using the CompassionWorx platform. Also, what a flipping cool idea... and for me, a great way to marry my passion for the bikes with compassion. Any chance to ride with Frank and the Make A Wish/Wish Rider Foundations is an honor for me. Hats off to Harley for supporting this wonderful cause! Check out the video here:

Sound of Music | Central Station Antwerp (Belgium)

More than 200 dancers were performing their version of "Do Re Mi", in the Central Station of Antwerp. with just 2 rehearsals they created this amazing stunt! Those 4 fantastic minutes started the 23 of march 2009, 08:00 AM. It is a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they are looking for someone to play the leading role, in the musical of "The Sound of Music".Read more
